Brazil Esmeralda (The Attendant Coffee Roasters)

There are coffees that taste of nuts, but not all of them make it a prominent note. Brazil Esmeralda House Espresso roasted by The Attendant Coffee Roasters does it in a bold way while mixing nuts with notes of caramel, chocolate, and vanilla.

When ground at 3, the nut note tastes a bit diluted, so it is probably best to skip it unless you don’t want a strong taste of nuts in your mouth. Things get serious at grind setting 2 and morph into a powerful nutty assault at 1.

Keep tamping on the light side and when you do so brewing times will be 26s at grind setting 3, 28s at 2, and 30s at 1 respectively.

Brazil Esmeralda is one of the best executions of the nutty note amongst coffees roasted in London and the vanilla note amplifies it even stronger.

MIXING WITH MILK

For whites or cappuccinos bursting with nutty notes, grind it at 1.
