Revelation (Union Coffee)

Not shy to come up with non-mainstream notes in their coffees, Union Coffee has something for those who may be looking for a blend that goes well with milk and lifts our mood when days are getting shorter.

Revelation is a blend that delivers rich, heavy dark chocolate and treacle with very noticeable cinnamon. It is a nice, non-standard take on traditional espresso that works especially well in autumn and winter and will be a good companion on cold, gloomy mornings.

When you brew it for the first time, skip grind setting 3 and go for 2 with light tamping. (Grind setting 3 produces a watery result, even with firm tamping. The strong notes present at grind setting 2 disappear into a sour mess.)

What Revelation does especially well is delighting you with the three well executed flavours without infusing you with a lot of caffeine. The aftertaste is pleasant and says goodbye in a way that leaves you wanting more.

MIXING WITH MILK

The note of cinnamon is executed in a really good, festive way making this blend a desirable companion for cappuccinos and flat whites.
